	Our History Over a decade ago progressive sustainability advocates at Halsall Associates, a Canada-wide building engineering services company, began to integrate sustainability into the company’s operations and client services. This strategy not only reduced the company’s impact on the environment and improved employee satisfaction, but it has also delivered reductions in operating costs and year-over-year revenue growth. In an effort to promote the benefits of sustainability to its clients and others, Halsall established Loop Initiatives in 2007 as a sister company to help organizations prosper in their shift towards sustainability. Loop Initiatives and Halsall Associates are owned by the same set of employee-shareholders; both benefit from each other’s knowledge, skills and resources. Through Loop’s affiliation with Halsall, a Canadian leader in Green Planning and Design, Loop has in-house expertise in green building design and retrofit, green building accreditation programs, energy measurement and management, and on-site renewable energy implementation. This provides Loop with the capability and capacity to provide rapid and seamless implementation support for our clients’ sustainability strategies.
