Project Manager and Green Business Consultant

Philippe brings a proven track record of helping clients develop and implement winning strategies that integrate sustainability into business management and operations. He has helped companies worldwide improve profitability, reduce cost and risk and strengthen their brand and reputation. His commitment to helping the environment by applying sustainability thinking to the built environment led Philippe to complete a Masters in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge (UK) in 2010.

Mark Bessoudo, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., LEED® AP
Green Business Consultant

Mark is a green building and sustainability specialist with a background in environmental engineering. Mark has assisted municipalities and organizations develop environmental master plans and green building and sustainability policies. At Loop, Mark researches and analyzes sustainability performance indicators and develops strategies for organizations to benchmark, set targets and track progress.

Emily Briggs, B.A., M.Sc. Sustainability Management
Green Business Consultant

Emily is a sustainability consultant with experience in greenhouse gas analysis, climate change adaptation, life cycle assessment, sustainability indicators, and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) reporting. Emily holds an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto, a M.Sc. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, and has studied Strategies for Sustainability Management at Harvard University. Emily is passionate about working with organizations to embed sustainability into business strategy, operations and culture.

Shawn Carr, B.A.Sc.
Project Manager and Employee Engagement Specialist

Shawn specializes in education, communication and technology relating to the implementation of sustainability. Prior to joining Loop, Shawn worked for a consulting firm as a manager for education program delivery, including e-learning.

Charlotte Davis, B.A., LLB
Communications Specialist

Charlotte is an experienced writer and editor who has written compelling copy for a wide variety of publications, including annual reports, sustainability reports, newsletters and brochures. She contributes to Loop's development of best-in-class materials for internal and external sustainability communications.

Morghain Gibbons, B.A.Sc., LEED® AP
Green Business Consultant

With a background in green building, environmental, transportation and municipal engineering, Morghain brings to the team experience in life cycle analysis and environmental measurement. Morghain works with clients to define and quantify greenhouse gas inventories, prioritize reduction strategies, and develop tools to keep progress on track. She is also a member of the employee team that leads our internal corporate sustainability program.

Graham Halsall, B.A., LEED® AP O+M.
Green Business Consultant

Graham began his consulting career with a focus on establishing sustainability metrics for a leading commercial real estate group. His continued experience as a green building consultant provides unique insight in maximizing opportunities for energy efficiency and low impact development across sectors. Graham works with clients to develop sustainability strategies emphasizing collaboration and business principles, including performance measurement, economic feasibility and pragmatism.

Caryn Levin, B.Eng.
Green Business Consultant

With a background in civil engineering, Caryn contributes to Loop's work as it relates to carbon emissions analytics, carbon offset development and supply chain analysis. From her previous role with a green marketing agency, Caryn is an experienced contributor to the development of internal and external sustainability reports, marketing and print media content, and employee training materials. Caryn is also a certified Carbon Trust Carbon Footprint ExpertTM.

Ian McVey, MES, BComm
Green Business Consultant

Ian is a sustainability consultant with experience developing and executing sustainability strategies in both the public and private sector. Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University and a Masters in Environmental Studies from York University. He has also studied greenhouse gas management, carbon finance and energy programming at the University of Toronto and Carleton University. At Loop, Ian works with clients to capture opportunities in corporate sustainability and carbon management.

Anna Melnik, B.E.S., M.A.
Green Business Consultant

Anna is a sustainability consultant with experience delivering sustainability analysis, recommendations and training, nationally and internationally. Anna holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria. She has also studied environmental assessment at the University of Waterloo. At Loop, Anna works with clients to measure sustainability and identify opportunities for performance improvement. She also supports the development of Loop's intellectual capital, such as the IRISTM tool.

Andrew Metcalfe, B.A., Dip. Graphic Design
Graphic Designer

With more than 10 years of design industry experience in the Green, Business and Education sectors, Andrew brings a fresh approach to Loop's visual communications. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dalhousie University and a diploma in Graphic Design from George Brown College. As an avid cyclist and healthy living advocate, Andrew is passionate about green issues and reducing his carbon footprint.

Seline Ozen, B.A., Cert., Digital Publishing Foundations
Communications Specialist

Seline is an accomplished Communications Specialist with a track record of helping organizations achieve their communications goals. She brings over ten years of experience in marketing communications for companies in diverse industries. At Loop, Seline combines her passion for green living with her creativity to help Loop's clients communicate their messages in meaningful and compelling ways. Seline is committed to a green way of life and takes daily measures to be environmentally responsible.
